So often, life is lived so much through the past or the future that no time is given to consciously living the present moment.

The past is gone and the future lies ahead, but the present is here and now. When we take a little time each day to be ‘mindful’ we create space to live life more fully in the now. Giving more of our energy, time and attention to living in the present, means we give less and less time to focusing on difficult past experiences or to worrying about what the future may hold.

GlencomeraghWhen we become more fully present in the moment, we begin to nurture and embrace ourselves holistically and grow in awareness of our uniqueness and amazing potential. We see far more clearly the ‘path of possibilities’ and opportunities available for us as we actively create the life we want to live.

As we emerge from the shadows, we bring joy and fun back into our lives, we take time to kick off our shoes, dance in the rain, feel our feet on solid ground, spend quality time with loved ones and give thanks for all that we have in our lives. We cease to have the need to grasp or chase life, we make conscious choices to flow with, rather than against life’s ebbs and flows. The wonderful thing about this is, that when we make positive and conscious changes in our lives, we may also be the catalyst for others to find the confidence and courage to do the same.

Enjoy the journey
